DWG, Inc. is a full service design firm that has been actively engaged
in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and communications
design services since 1972. Due to our continuous growth, we presently
have the opportunity to add the following positions to our staff:
Electrical Engineer: 3-7 years experience in the design of lighting,
power distribution, communications, data and security systems for
commercial, institutional, government and educational projects. PE
registration is a plus.
Mechanical Engineer: Mechanical Engineering Consultant with 2+
years of previous experience working for Engineering and Design
Consulting firms. This individual will plan & design Mechanical
systems for projects of various types including: institutional
facilities, commercial buildings, medical complexes, educational
facilities, laboratories and government facilities. Professional Engineering is not required but must
be attainable. These positions require
the engineer to perform all aspects of engineering as it relates to
individually assigned projects. This is inclusive of, but not
limited to the following:

Meeting with Clients to assist in determining the scope of work

Performing appropriate fieldwork to determine a design direction,
including making educated decisions on system upgrades
- Meeting with Clients and other
engineers to review and coordinate disciplines
- Prepare bid plans using AutoCAD
MEP 2011 and/or REVIT 2011 and specifications utilizing SpecsinTact,
Word, Speclink
- Bidding phase services
(attending and directing pre-bid and pre-construction meetings)
- Seeing the Mechanical
construction of the project through completion and evaluating
conformance with project construction documents.
